一日三食の食事によって必要な栄養素を摂取するのが一番理想だと思うのですが、なかなか思うようにはいかずついついサプリメントに頼ってしまう私です。

でも、逆にサプリメントですべて補えれば無理に食事をしなくてもいいのだろうかと考えると、その方が魅力的に思えてしまいます。まぁ、お腹は空いてしまうのでしょうけども。

食欲は人間の三大欲のひとつと言われますが、食をまずは「生命維持の手段」として考えている自分は、人生の３分の１を損しているのかもしれませんね。

もったいない限りです。

4月10日、石巻日日新聞の近江社長にお会いして、いろいろお話を伺うとともに 私たちの活動も説明させていただきました。

輪転機が津波の被害で動かせないので、手書きの壁新聞を作って 地域の人たちに情報を発信し続けた話は、深く記憶に残っています。

近江社長初め、記者の方々の強い使命感には本当に感動しました。

震災の記憶を決して風化させてはいけないこと、そして、市域の方々にはまだ 多くの支援が必要なことなど話し合いました。

Meeting with Mr. Ohmi

I saw Mr. Ohmi, the president of Ishimaki hibi newspaper on 4/10. We discuss a lot of things including the detail of our Randoseru
project. Above all, I was impressed by a story of "Kabe shinbun", which during a huge confusion of 3/11 earthquake, they issued hand
written news papers which includes valuable local information for the victims and put them on the wall (Kabe) of evacuation centers,
convenience stores etc. when their rotary press was broke down by Tsunami. I was deeply impressed & touched by a deep sense of
vocation and hard work of Mr. Ohmi and his staffs.

We reconfirmed that local people ( victims of the disaster ) still need large amount of support
and we must keep the memory of the disaster unforgotten.

韓国の２店舗目がオープンしました。
場所は、ソウルの南にある韓国最大級のショッピングモール　Ｇａｒｄｅｎ　５　の１階です。
ショップの内装は、旅先でのホテルの部屋のイメージになっており、早くもソウルの皆さんの
話題になっています。

New shop in South Korea opened

The 2nd our flagship shop in South Korea has opened.
The shop is located at the 1st floor in the one of the biggest shopping mall in South Korea
called Garden 5 which is located south of Korea. Its lovely interior inspired by a posh hotel room
has been a hot topic for locals of Soul.

私が大変尊敬する藤原正彦先生にお会いしました。
著書にもサインをして頂き、大感激です。
私のブランドについて、、ロゴマークの
hideoのhの上の赤い点は日の丸で、生意気ですが、
藤原先生のおっしゃるように、日本人の気概を持って仕事をしていることを
お話し、先生から激励のお言葉をいただきました。

台湾でＨＷ商品の代理店をして頂いているＡｌｌｗｉｎ社のホー社長が来社されました。
来月からの、旅行ケースのプロモーションの打合せと、新商品の導入を話し合いました。
首都台北を始め、台湾主要都市全てで、ＨＷ商品の販売が行われており、
年々その売上を伸ばしています。
今年も、更なる販売増が見込まれます。

また、Ａｌｌｗｉｎ社では、台中の自社工場で台湾小学生の通学かばんを生産販売しています。
ナイロン製のリュックのようなものです。
台湾でも中国製の品質もよくないが低価格の商品が多く販売されている中で、
Ａｌｌｗｉｎ社では、市場価格よりかなり高価になりますが、高品質のスクールバッグを販売して、
マーケットリーダーとなっています。
今年は、Ｈｉｄｅｏ　Ｗａｋａｍａｔｓｕ　デザインチームも企画に参加させていただいて、
コラボ商品を投入する予定です。
日本のランドセルのコンセプトと、ＨＷデザインを織り込みます。

We have a guest from Taiwan on March 23th.

Mr. Ho, the president of ALLWIN SPORTS INTERNATIONAL CORPORATION, visited our HQ.

ALLWIN is a distributor of Hideo Wakamatsu brand in Taiwan.

We discussed promotion activities for our suitcases starting from April, and introduction for our new products.

All major cities in Taiwan including Taipei, the capital of Taiwan, Hideo Wakamatsu products have been distributed and the sales have kept growing year by year.

And we expect further sales growth in this year.

ALLWIN produces school bags for Taiwanese elementary school kids in their own factory in Taichung.

It is like backpack made by nylon.

Although so many cheap but poor quality school bags which made in China has been sold  in Taiwan,  ALLWIN is well know as a market leader for their quality despite their goods are rather expensive in the market.

In this year, Hideo Wakamatsu design team is planned to collaborate closely with ALLWIN to make goods together.

We will inject concept of Japanese Randoseru as well as design of Hideo Wakamatsu into their products.

２月２０，２１日の２日間、韓国に行きました。

ソウルの南にあるＤｏｎｇｔａｎ（ドンタン）のショッピングモールに、直営店

ＨＩＤＥＯＷＡＫＡＭＡＴＳＵの第１号がオープンしました。

１５坪ほどの小さなお店ですが、エスカレーター脇の好立地です。

写真は、ショップ責任者のＭＩＮ（ミン）さんです。

このショップは、韓国のメディアでも、多くの報道がありました。

写真はそのメディア報道の一部で、ニュースサイトに掲載されたものです。

３月中旬には、ソウル最大のショッピングモールＧａｒｄｅｎ５に、２号店を出

店します。

内装のデザイナーと打ち合わせて、インパクトのある店を作ります。

新世界デパートでは、ミョンドンなど主要３店舗で、ランドセルの販売をして頂

いています。

子供用品担当の課長さんとお話させていただきましたが、大変に好評で、年間を

通して販売の予定です。

新世界デパートのプサン店の売り場が、テレビでも紹介されました、

また、新世界をはじめ、主要デパートにおいて、ケース、ビジネスバッグの販売

の商談をしています。

私の訪問中に、注文していた新車が届きました。

ソウルの街中を走り回って、多くのお客様にＨｉｄｅｏ　Ｗａｋａｍａｔｓｕの

商品をお届けしたいと思います。

HIDEO WAKAMATSU's first shop was opened in a shopping mall in Dongtan, south of Seoul.
Though the shop is small, about 60square, it takes advantage of its good location, besides an escalator. 

２月３日、東日本大震災からの復興、再生を誓い支援者の方々に感謝する、
「仙台の夕べ」が、仙台市の主催で溜池のANAホテルで開催されました。
「がんばれ被災地の子供たち、みんなでランドセルを贈ろう」実行委員会も、
支援組織のひとつとして、ご招待を受けました。

多くの支援者たちが集まり、仙台市の復興に向けて協力してゆくことが確認されました。

奥山市長を初め、青沼教育局教育長、高橋市民局長のみなさんと懇談を致しました。
奥山市長は大學の一年先輩に当たります。
震災以来の、ランドセル支援や、避難所生活をする皆さんへのスーツケース提供など、
実行委員会の活動に対して、心からの感謝の言葉を頂きました。

１月２７日、白鷗大学教授、政治経済評論家の福岡先生のご講演のあとに行われた懇親会で、
先生とお話させていただきました。
先生は、アシストの会事務局長として東日本大震災の被災者を初め、多くの支援活動をなさっています。

私たちの「がんばれ被災地の子供たち」も、先生の支援活動と連絡をとりあっ て

被災地の子供たちの支援のために 更なる活動を続けて行きたいと考えています。

１月１２日、第４６回協和グループの新年懇親会が開催されました。

席上、恒例のチャリティーオークション（参加者の皆さんが、寄付してくださった
自社製品などをオークションします）が行われ、その売上総額383,000円が、
「がんばれ被災地の子供たち　みんなでランドセルを贈ろう」実行委員会に
支援金として寄付されました。

参加者の皆さんには、心からお礼申し上げます。
被災地の子供たちのために、有意義に使わせて頂きます。

韓国で、ＨＩＤＥＯ　ＷＡＫＡＭＡＴＳＵの商品を小売展開するために、１１月
２４日
ＫＹＯＷＡ　ＫＯＲＥＡ　Co,Ltd. を設立しました。
Ｆｌａｇ　Ｓｈｏｐ　となる店舗の決定がまだですので、当面はデパートでの
コーナー展開を開始します。
会社の運営は、私の代理として　Ｊａｍｅｓ　Ｙｕｎ　さんが務めます。
韓国の方々に、日本の洗練されたデザインを、お届けできるように頑張ります。

We established new company in South Korea.

On November 24th, we established KYOWA KOREA Co., Ltd  in Korea to retail Hideo Wakamatsu brand products.

Location of our flagship shop has not been finalized yet, so we will start to retail our goods at luggage section in department stores first.

Mr. James Yun runs KYOWA KOREA Co., Ltd as my deputy.
We want Korean people to enjoy Japanese sophisticated design.

中国出張中の１１月２日、エミネント中国工場で誕生日祝いをしていただきました。
工場の食堂で、エミネント謝社長から、花束と、プレゼントをいただきました。
工場の事務所のスタッフの皆さんも、誕生日ケーキとコーラで乾杯していただき
ました。

夜は、行きつけのレストランでもお祝いしていただき、ケーキのほかに、長生麺
（中国では長生きを
祈念して麺を食べます）を作っていただきました。

翌晩は、日本レストランで、チラシ寿司をデコレーションケーキのように盛り付
けて、お祝いをして頂きました。

My birthday party in China

November 2nd, during my business trip to China, the president and staff in Eminent China factory celebrated my birthday.
President 謝 gave me bouquet of flowers and a birthday present at cafeteria in the factory.
Along with staff in the factory, we toasted my birthday with drinking Coke and enjoyed a birthday cake.

At night, we had dinner to celebrate my birthday in our favorite restaurant.
We had a birthday cake and noodles there.
(In China, people eat noodles to pray for a long life.)

１０月２８日、モスクワから、Ｌｕｃｋｙｂａｇ　のＰａｖｅｌさんと、ｎｉｎａ
さんがお見えになりました。
中国に行かれる途中、わざわざ１日、東京にＳｔｏｐ　Ｏｖｅｒして、来ていた
だきました。
モスクワでの、Ｈｉｄｅｏ　Ｗａｋａｍａｔｓｕの売れ行きは良好で、協和
ショールームで新製品を見て頂きました。
今後は、財布などの小物類の販売にも力を入れて行きたいと思います

また、東日本大震災に支援金を頂いたお礼に、副社長に毛筆で書いていただいた
感謝状と、ＪａｐａｎＡｉｄ　２０１１　のネームタグ１，２００個を
お礼に差し上げました。

We had guests from Moscow, Russia.

On Oct 28th, Mr. Pavel and Ms. Nina from Lucky Bag visited us from Moscow, Russia.
On the way to China, they kindly stopped over in Tokyo 1 day. 
In Moscow, Hideo Wakamatsu products have good sales, and we introduced them our 
new collection displayed in our showroom.
We will try to sell more small accessories such as purses in Moscow.

In addition,  we gave them a calligraphic letter of appreciation and 1200pcs of name tag 
"JAPAN AID 2011" to show our gratitude for their kind donation for 3.11 earthquake .
The letter was written on the Japanese traditional hand-made paper called Washi with a brush

１０月２５，２６日の二日間、ソウルに行きました。
５年ぶりのソウルは、素晴らしい商品や、おしゃれなお店が一杯あり、活気に満
ちていました。
特にアックジョン地区は、ハイセンスなおしゃれなショップが集まった、世界で
もトップクラスの商業地区だと思います。

今回のソウル訪問は、このアックジョンにＨｉｄｅｏ　Ｗａｋａｍａｔｓｕのお
店を出そうという計画のための物件の検討が目的でした。
まだ決定には至りませんが、年内にはオープンしたいと思っています。

I went to Seoul, South Korea during Oct. 25th to 26th.

I went to Seoul for the first time in five years, there were a lot of stylish goods as well as fashionable shops, and it made Seoul exciting and brilliant.
I believe Apqujeong area is top-class shopping area in the world, where stylish and fashionable shops are being gathered.

I have a plan to open new Hideo Wakamatsu shops in Apqujeong by end of this year,
and I have been looking for property there.
That's why I visited Seoul.
Although I haven't made my decision yet, I hope I will be able to open new shops before the end of this year.

HIDEO WAKAMATSUを気に入っていただきお越しいただいている方にはなじみがないかもしれませんが、私はランドセルも手掛けています。

ふわりぃランドセルといえば、お聞きになられたことがあるかもしれません。

11月3日、イオン北戸田店・セントラルコートにて、ふわりぃランドセルのＣＭソング「ランドセルデビュー」を使った
ダンスイベントを行うことになりました。

幼稚園や保育園で大変人気のある、振り付け師のたにぞうさんに、「ランドセルデビュー」に振り付けをいただきまして、当日はそのダンスを皆さんで踊って盛り上がっていただきたいと思います。
ＰＶはすでに弊社の「ふわりぃ.com」に掲載されておりますが、見たことない人大丈夫、当日にダンスレクチャーをする予定です。

そのほか、プレゼントのあたるゲーム大会なども予定しています。
開催時間はこれから詰めますが、お昼の１２時より４回ほど行う予定です。
おおきなふわりぃもお待ちしておりますので、是非家族連れで遊びに来てください。

Ｋｏｗｌｏｏｎ駅と、Ｏｃｅａｎ　Ｃｅｎｔａｒ　のお店が、９月に相ついでリ ニューアルオープンしたので、訪問しました。

どちらも、鉄道やフェリーに隣接していて、集客の多い好立地にあります。

中国本土からの観光客も多く、これからも大いに期待できるお店です。 また、ＳＯＧＯの地下のかばん売り場にも、ＨＷコーナーができました。

I visited Hideo Wakamatsu shops in Hong Kong.

One is located at Kowloon Station and another one is located at Ocean Center.

There are many tourists of mainland China, so we have great expectations of those shops.

In addition, luggage section at basement of SOGO department in Hong Kong

started to create corner of Hideo Wakamatsu bags.

９月２日、Ｐ生命保険会社へ２４４本のトローリーケースを寄贈させていただきました。

このケースは同社の仙台支社を通して、今でも自宅を離れ不便な生活をされている方々に、 贈られることになっています。

支援を必要とされているお客様ひとりひとりに手渡しでお渡し頂いており、 本日までで約９０個をお届けいただいております。 年内にはすべての方にお贈りさせていただける予定となっております。

受け取られた方からは「娘が修学旅行が近かったためとても嬉しいです」とのお声も 頂戴しております。

大変喜んで頂けており、我々実行委員会としても嬉しい限りです。

Additional report on our support activity for the earthquake.

On Sep. 2nd, we donated 244pcs of suitcase to certain life insurance company.
These suitcases will be given via their Sendai branch office to people who still

”がんばれ被災地の子供たち”の支援金口座に、
４月の募集のお願い以来、毎月決まった金額を送って下さる、
Ｍ．Ｋ．さんという方がいらっしゃいます。
今月もまた、お振込みいただきました。

ご住所などがわかりませんので、この場を借りて、
ご支援に深く感謝申し上げます。

被災地の子供たちのために使わせて頂きます。

９月２７日　いわき市教育委員会に行きました。

福島県いわき市教育委員会、教育長の吉田　浩様と面談しました。
吉田教育長からは、震災後、これまでの”がんばれ被災地の子供たち”の活動に対して、心からの感謝のお言葉を頂きました。
また、先週ＮＨＫで放映されたタイムレターについても、ニュースをみて大変感動されたとともに、
教育的観点からも、大いに評価できると、お褒めを頂きました。

来年入学予定の被災地の児童支援に関しては、今後連絡を取り合って具体的に進
めてゆくことになりました。

９月２７日　いわきから、高速バスで郡山に入りました。

現地で支援活動をなさっているＳ生命にお寄りして、来月の協和工場祭で販売予定の福島の果物の打ち合わせ。
風評被害のみならず、猛暑、台風と大変ご苦労されている地元の栽培農家の実情をお聞きし、ますます
何とかしなければと思います。
３，０００個のりんご、梨の買取を決めました。

５月に寄贈した、トロリーケースが、被災地の皆さんに大変にお役に立っているとの報告をお聞きしました。
特に、浪江町など原発問題で避難されてる方々が、一時帰宅が許可されるときなどに、ご自宅から荷物を運んでくるのに非常に便利だということで、皆さんに喜んでいただいているとの事。
本当に良かったと思います。

I visited the Iwaki City Board of Education on Sep. 27th.

I had a meeting with Mr. Hiroshi Yoshida, head of the Iwaki City Board of Education.
He expressed heartfelt appreciation for our donated Randoseru project
"Never give up, children in devastated areas!! Let's give the Randoseru"
 
He said he was deeply moved by the morning news "Nozomi's Time letter" broadcasted by NHK on Sep. 20th.
He considered it was highly esteemed from an educational standpoint.

Regarding support for children in devastated area who will enter elementary school on next spring,
we promised to keep in touch and discuss specific plans.

I moved from Iwaki to Koriyama by the expressway bus on Sep. 27th.

I visited certain life insurance company which has been giving supports in Koriyama,

I went to SASANAO's  Sasa-kamaboko factory.

SASANAO is a Kamaboko maker in Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture.
Kamaboko is Japanese traditional food and is made from fish minced and steamed.
They mainly produce Sasa-kamaboko which is a kind of Kamaboko and made from whitefish, sake and salt.

Their factory is located on coastal area in Natori city, earthquake & Tsunami-hit the region on 3.11 .
Due to serious damage by Tsunami, they are still now unable to resume working.
After the incident, they built a temporary small factory along with their retail shop in Sendai bypass highway, and make their products there.
 
I have been thinking if  I can do something to help devastated area at our annual autumn festival.
So I decided to deal with Sasa-kamaboko made by SASANAO there.

After visiting SASANAO's factory, I saw some people and they introduced me some local specialties in Sendai.
I might deal with some of them at the festival as well as Sasa-kamaboko.

Our annual autumn festival will be held on 10/15-16, and it is about half a month left.
In the festival, we will try to help divested area on a large scale.
I hope many people will come to our autumn festival.

大震災の津波でお母さんを亡くした、望美ちゃんご家族の避難先にお邪魔しました。

望美ちゃんが、３年前小学校に入学する時、協和のランドセルを買って頂き、そ のときランドセルに添えられていた「未来へつなぐ　タイムレター」 を、お母さんが投函していたのです。

その大事なお手紙を、望美ちゃんに届けに行って来ました。 小学校３年生の望美ちゃんには、中学生のお兄さんと、お姉さんが一人ずついるのですが、望美ちゃんが封筒を開けてみると、なんと望美ちゃんだけで なく、 ３人全員に宛てたお母さんからの手紙が入っていました。

誰も想像していなかった、このお母さんからの手紙は、ご家族みんなのこれからの大きな支えになってくれると思います。

手紙を読みながら涙ぐむお子さんたちを励ますように、お父さんが「お母さんは、子供たちみんなのことを思っていたんだよ。お父さんも手紙欲しかっ たなぁ」と冗談めかして話されていた言葉が、胸に残ります。

このタイムレターのサービスを始めて１０年余りになりますが、本当に良かったと思います。 これからも、家族の絆をしっかりと支えてゆくお手伝いを続けてゆきます。

なお、この望美ちゃんのお手紙は、２０日、ＮＨＫ　「おはようにっぽん」で放映され、朝日新聞でも19日に掲載されました。

I went to Watari-gun, Miyagi Prefecture.

I went to Watari-gun, Miyagi Prefecture to visit Nozomi (8) and her family.
Their mother was killed by Tsunami on 3.11 earthquake.
Currently they live in their relative's home temporary.

Three years ago, Nozomi's parents bought our Randoseru for her when she entered the elementary school.
For people bought our Randoseru, we offer service called "Time letter for the future".
Please let us explain a little bit about this service.
A set of letter is attached to our Randoseru.
We call for parents to write message for their children and send it to us by post when their children enter elementary school.
1000days after receiving letters, we return them to each family.
 
Nozomi's mother wrote Time letter to Nozomi three years ago.

I visited her to hand over this precious letter in person.

Nozomi is the youngest of one brother and two sisters.
Her older brother is a high school student, and her older sister is a junior high school student.
When she opened the envelope, she found not only letter for her but also letters for her brother and sister.
Who could imagine their mother wrote letters for all 3 children?
 
I believe these letters will be great supports in their future life.

Their father said jokingly to cheer children up who were moved to tears with reading letters,
"Your mother had always cared about you all. I wish she had wrote me, too."
This words have remained in my heart.
 
10years have passed since we start Time letter service, and now I really feel very happy to do this service.
We will keep continuing this project from now on hoping it would be help for some families to tighten their family ties.

This story of Nozomi's Time letter was broadcasted morning news on NHK on Sep 20th, and also appeared in evening edition of Asahi newspaper on Sep.19th.

５日に経団連会館で記者発表した、今後６ヵ年にわたる、被災地の子供たちへの ランドセル支援をより具体的話し合うために、９月９日に仙台に行きました。

宮城県庁、仙台市ＰＴＡ協議会，支援活動を行っているＳ生命保険会社の方々に 私たちの活動への、ご協力をお願いしました。 また、地元報道機関の記者の方々にも、説明の機会を頂きました。

来年の新学期商戦が早々に展開されている中、被災地の子供たちの支援をしっか りと行って行きたいと思います。

また、１０月の恒例の千葉工場での工場祭では、今年は被災地支援のために何か 地元の物産を販売したいと考えて、多くの方々に相談をさせて頂きました。

時間も迫っているので、早急に具体化してゆきます。

この度、弊社を窓口とする「がんばれ！被災地のこどもたち！！みんなでランドセルを贈ろう！」実行委員会は
６年間に渡り被災された児童へのランドセル支援活動を行うことを決定いたしました。

イタリアのバイクレーシングチームapriliaにターポリンキャリーのドルフィンを、
３年間提供することとなりました。
きっかけは、チームのレーサーが店舗で見かけ、どうしても世界転戦時の旅行キャリーとして
使用したいという熱い要望を頂いたことでした。
我々が栄光のapriliaレーシングチームに貢献できることは大きな喜びであり、また同時に、
品質とデザインに対する責任を改めて真剣に考えさせられる出来事となっています。

市販車へのデータフィードバックのため積極的にレースに参加しており、

It all started that one of racers in Aprilia saw our Tarpaulin suitcases in the luggage store and was very eager to use it when he is on his world racing tour.

７月２０日、韓国の代理店ＣＯＭＰＡＳＳ社の代表ＹＵＮさんと、ＬＥＥさんが
来社されました。

今後の販売戦略に付いて意見を交換しました。
Ｈｉｄｅｏ　Ｗａｋａｍａｔｓｕ　の商品は、韓国では非常に高い評価を受けており、

今後は、新世界デパートなどで現在行われている店頭販売を強化し、
フラッグショップの開店を計画しています。

東日本大震災に対して、韓国の皆さんからも多大なご支援を頂いたことに、感謝

Mr. Yun's visit to Japan.


Mr. Yun and Mr. Lee and visited to our HQ on July 20th.
Mr. Yun is the CEO of COMPAS, a distributor of Hideo Wakamatsu brand in Korea.

We exchanged ideas about the sales strategy for our products in the future.
Hideo Wakamatsu products have always been extremely highly regarded in Korea,
and mainly they are being sold by his company's online shopping site.

We will strengthen sales of our products sold in Shinsegae Department store,
the most traditional one in Korea and it is located in the central of Seoul.
Also, we are planning to open a flagship shop of Hideo Wakamatsu brand in Korea.

Korea provided a lot of great supports for 3.11 earthquake.
To show our gratitude, we presented him with a letter of appreciation.

宮城県名取市の海岸沿いの閖上（ゆりあげ）地区は、今度の震災で壊滅的な被害を受け、
小学校も中学校も瓦礫の山と化しました。
そこの子供たちのために、ＮＰＯ法人ロシナンテス、そして地元の皆さんを中心に、
ソニー生命の廣瀬さん始め、多くの方々の側面からの協力によって、高台で
被害を免れた不二が丘小学校のグランドを借りて、運動会が実現しました。

この運動会には、スーダンで医療支援を行っているロシナンデスの招待で、スーダンから
２２名の子供たちも参加しました。

私も、これまでランドセル支援を行ってきたことや、スーダンの子供たちに鞄やトロリーケースを寄贈したので、
ご招待を受けました。

被災地の子供たちも、スーダンから来た子供たちも、みんな一緒になって、元気に運動会を楽しむ姿は、
とても楽しそうでした。
日本もこれから復興に向けて大変な時期ですし、スーダンも今年南北に国が二つに分かれたりで、
どちらの国も、こうした元気な子供たちが豊かな未来を築いていってくれるものと、熱い思いを
抱かずにはいられませんでした。

会場では、名取市の佐々木市長にもお目にかかって、今後の支援のあり方など話し合いができました。

また、スーダンのモハメッド・エルガザーリ臨時代理大使とも、並んで運動会を観戦しながら、スーダンのお話を
伺ったり、大震災後の日本人の対応を説明したり、楽しいひと時を過ごしました。

お昼は、地元の方々の炊き出しで、とてもおいしくいただきました。
いつの間にやら、真っ黒に日焼けして、帰りの新幹線ではぐっすり眠っている間に東京に着きました。

東日本大震災に対する台湾の皆さんからの暖かい支援に感謝するため、
ＪＡＰＡＮ　ＡＩＤ　２０１１　のネームタグを作ってお贈りしました。

念のために、中国語の意味は以下のとおりです。

若松秀夫さんは、日本で起きた大地震に対して支援してくれた全ての台湾の人達
に感謝しています。
感謝の印として、3型・6色のネームタグを用意してくれました。
このタグは、台湾と日本の友情、すなわち”ともだち”の印として使用します。
HWブランドの商品をご購入されたお客様には、このネームタグを無料で差し上げ
ます。
このキャンペーンは7月からスタートします。





To show our gratitude to Taiwan people who give warm supports for the earthquake,
we made name tags "JAPAN AID 2011"and gave to them.

Hideo Wakamatsu products.
This promotional material is also planned to place an advertisement in some magazines.

For your reference, I wrote English translation of what they write on their promotional material. 

Hideo thanks all the Taiwan people who kindly help Japan for earthquake.
They designed three different styles and six color of name tag to thanks Taiwan.
They used “TOMODACHI” to show the friendship between Taiwan and Japan.

６月２２日、中国のエミネント工場を訪問しました。
東日本大震災に際して、エミネント社、および謝社長様から多額の義捐金を頂き、
そのお礼に、協和から感謝状を贈呈させていただきました。
この感謝状は、手漉き和紙に、協和の副社長が毛筆でしたためた手作りのものです。

エミネントの本社がある台湾の台南市は、仙台市と姉妹都市で、、
謝社長は、両市の文化交流使節として、数年前に仙台を訪れており、
今回の震災による大きな被害にことのほか心を痛めておられます。

福島県、宮城県に、これまで3,144本のスーツケースを送りました。
避難先から仮設住宅に移られる方、現在の避難先から別の避難先に移られる方等へ、

必要な生活セットを入れて渡されるそうです。
 

<Report of June 17th>

郡山でS生命保険の営業の方々から、現地の詳しいお話を伺いました。

郡山のビッグパレットや、県内各地に避難されている皆さんの、仮設住宅への移
動が始まります。トロリーケースを５００本寄贈しました。
S生命の社員の皆さんが集められた生活用品などをそのケースに詰めて、避難所
の皆さんに送り届けています。

仙台では、宮城県庁、仙台市役所、がんばろう宮城（NGO)の方々のお話を伺いま
した。
メンテナンスされていない中古ランドセルの問題や、今後のフォローに関して打
ち合わせました。
仙台市には、再製ランドセル１，０００本を贈ります。
また、宮城県でも仮設住宅の建設が進んでおり、そこに移られる方々に、約
３，０００本のケースを送り届けます。
こちらも、がんばろう宮城の皆さんの手によって、生活用品が詰め込まれ、被災
者の皆さんに届けられます。

　「がんばれ！被災地のこどもたち！！みんなでランドセルを贈ろう」を立ち上げ進めている

株式会社協和では、現在も東日本大震災で被災されたお子様にランドセルを贈る活動をいたしております。

しかし、被災地の状況が変わるにつれ需要の内容も変化しており、

現在は中高生用のスクールバッグ、スポーツバッグさらにはスーツケース等の支援を中心に

させていただいております。

おかげさまでランドセルが被災地や避難先の児童の手元に届き、小学校の授業が再開しました。

皆様からいただきました寄付ランドセルはまたたく間に集まり、修理され必要としていたこどもたちに、

応援メッセージとともにしっかりとお届けしました。ありがとうございました。

ランドセルの支援が落ち着き5月に入り、復興が進むにつれて支援の内容も変化しつつあります。

中学校、高校、支援学校での授業再開に伴い、スクールバッグやスポーツバッグ等、

教材以外の荷物を持ち運ぶサブバッグが必要である、といった要望をいただき、

当社では準備させていただくようになりました。

これまで避難所では生命維持が主であった頃から生活維持に主眼が移り、生活向上の段階となり、

現在では仮設住宅の建築が進むにつれ、生活用品セットを鞄に入れて入居される方々へ

お渡ししたいという要望をいただき、今後3,000本のスーツケース、ボストンバッグ等を

Mr. Manlio Cadelo’s visit

Mr. Manlio Cadelo, an ambassador of Republic of San Marino, visited our HQ office by personal introduction from Mr. Yanagihara from
Partner Co., Ltd.

Republic of San Marino is enclave surrounded by Italy.
Its size is just over 61km2 with an estimated population of over 30,000.
What surprised is, San Marino is founded on 301, and it is the oldest surviving republic in existence.

I'm a big fan of "Grille", wine of local specialty in San Marino.
Mr. Yanagihara knew about it and introduced Mr. Manlio Cadelo for me.

Mr. Manlio Cadelo sew in our showroom at HQ office, and became quite fond of Tarpaulin (Dolphin)
trolley and will use it regularly.

Support for overseas

Strong aftershocks have been still following.
I hope all of you reading this message are safe.

We have been receiving goodwill donations one after another for victims affected
by the earthquake from many overseas’ distributors of Hideo Wakamatsu products.
Up until now, our distributors in USA, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Korea, Singapore,
Malaysia and Australia made a donation.
I will inform the final report about donation again.

Thank you very much for all of your donation and compassion.

 

No matter how it is just small power, we are going to do anything what we can do.
